RED SQUARE GALLERY was founded by prominent Russian artist Anastassia Katafygiotis and is dedicated to bringing to Hong Kong stunning artworks of renowned as well as emerging artists from parts of the world that are currently not adequately represented, including Russia and ex-Soviet Union States. Red Square Gallery, named after the famous historical Kremlin Square in Moscow, aims to fill the gap and contribute towards increasing the diversity of art currently exhibited in Hong Kong.

The gallery houses significant collections of exquisite Russian artworks, and showcases compelling exhibitions on a regular basis for the enjoyment of art lovers. We put great effort to ensure that the artworks we exhibit are not only truly breathtaking, but also present a great value and offer rare investment opportunities to discerned art collectors.

Red Square Gallery has currently three branches. The first is situated in the charming Old Town of Sai Kung. Following a successful three years operation, the second gallery opened its doors in 2009 at The Repulse Bay Shopping Arcade, one of the most prestigious, historical & heritage buildings in Hong Kong. In 2010 the company launched its third gallery in Happy Valley housed in a gorgeous one of a kind colonial three-story building, one of the last few gems of Hong Kong’s colonial times. The ambience is fantastic, blending seamlessly the old and historical character and architecture of the building with the stunning contemporary art and interior deco.

Since then the Gallery has become one of Hong Kong’s most vibrant and visited Art Galleries.

In January 2011 the Gallery successfully opened a season of Art & Music Events - concert series that combines great Art with great Music. The art & music lovers are enjoying the music performances in a gallery environment, immersing themselves into the visual delights of the Art Gallery’s exclusive exhibitions while listening to the inspiring music of the world’s greatest composers.

Red Square Gallery holds performances by major international & Hong Kong artists as well as emerging young local musicians in engaging, thematic evenings of folk, pop, blues, jazz and classical music. The concerts are followed by cocktail receptions, including drinks and gastronomic delights.

Red Square Gallery, is further an art and cultural institution, being part of Anastassia’s Art House - Russian Art Academy, which is committed to bringing to Hong Kong Art Education of the highest standards with a mission of exposing Hong Kong to the vast wealth of Russian & Western cultural heritage in Fine Arts. The Academy offers a wide range of art classes for children and adults. The gallery space is also available for booking for selected functions.
